Core Activities

The core activities that Best Shelter aims for are:

• Advocacy towards the community and influential stakeholders on Harm Reduction
• Social reintegration and facilitating employment opportunities for the drug users and their family partners(e.g. income generation)
• Primary prevention of drug use among Young People
• Harm Reduction and Health Promotion Activities (Harm Reduction activities, Prevention and treatment of overdose, HIV/ AIDS, Hepatitis B/C, TB, malaria, etc.)
• Consultancy and training on Drug Dependency and Harm Reduction

အရိပ်စစ်အဖွဲ့မှ အဓိက လုပ်ဆောင်လျက်ရှိသော လုပ်ငန်းများမှာ-

(၁) ရပ်ရွာလူထုနှင့် အန္တရာယ်လျှော့ချရေးလုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များအပေါ် သက် ရောက်မှုရှိသော သူများအား လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များကို အသိပေးရှင်းလင်း ဆွေးနွေးတင်ပြခြင်း

(၂) မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးသုံးစွဲသူများနှင့် ၎င်းတို့၏မိသားစုဝင်များအနေဖြင့် လူမှုအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းအတွင်း သို့ ပြန်လည် ဝင် ရောက်နိုင်ရေးနှင့် အလုပ် အကိုင်အခွင့်အလမ်းများ ပေါ်ပေါက်အောင် ပံ့ပိုးကူ ညီခြင်း

(၃) လူငယ်များအကြား မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးသုံးစွဲခြင်းများကို အဓိကကာကွယ် တားဆီးရေးလုပ်ငန်း စဉ်များ လုပ်ဆောင်ခြင်း

(၄) အန္တရာယ်လျှော့ချရေးနှင့် ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုများ (အန္တရာယ် လျှော့ချရေး လုပ်ငန်း စဉ်များ၊ ဆေးလွန်ခြင်း ကို ကာကွယ်ခြင်းနှင့် ကုသခြင်း၊ HIV/AIDS၊အသည်းရောင်အသားဝါ ဘီပိုး၊စီပိုး၊ တီဘီ၊ငှက်ဖျား စသည့်ရောဂါ များကို ဝန်ဆောင်မှုပေးခြင်း)

(၅) မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးအပေါ်မှီခိုနေရခြင်းနှင့် အန္တရာယ်လျှော့ချရေးလုပ်ငန်း စဉ်များကို အကြံပေး ဆွေးနွေးခြင်း နှင့် သင်တန်းပို့ချခြင်း

အရိပ်စစ်အဖွဲ့သည် အကျိုးခံစားခွင့်ရှိသူများအားလုံးကို လူမျိုး၊ အသား အရောင်၊ နိုင်ငံသား၊ ဇာတ်နိမ့်ဇာတ်မြင့်၊ ဘာသာတရား၊ ခန္ဓာကိုယ်မသန် စွမ်းခြင်းနှင့် လိင်အမျိုးအစားများအပေါ် ခွဲခြားဆက်ဆံမှုမရှိဘဲ အခွင့် အလမ်းနှင့် ဝန်ဆောင်မှုများကို တန်းတူညီမျှ ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးလျက် ရှိပါသည်။
