AHRN Outreach and Mobile HTS team conducted mobile HIV testing and screening services and  follow-up visit of PHA clients at

hard-to-elephant camp deep insides the forest at Mawlaik Township, Sagaing Division.

The AHRN outreach and mobile HTS team, consisting of John Ko Latt (outreach worker), Hein Ko Oo (nurse counselor), Doi Seng Bu (case management officer), Phyo Lamin Soe (treatment facilitator), and peer workers, traveled to hard-to-reach areas, such as the elephant camp deep inside the forest, using various transportation methods—by motorcycle, boat, and on foot—with the purpose of providing HIV prevention and testing service and ART follow-up visit for PHA clients on April 8, 2024.

The harm reduction services, such as health education session on HIV and TB, distribution prevention materials  and HIV testing and introducing to the available services of AHRN and Best Shelter were conducted for clients including people who use drugs (PWUD), People who injected drugs(PWID) and their family members. Besides, TB suspected patients were provided with referral services to AHRN to get further treatment and care.

AHRN (နားခိုရာ)‌၏ ကွင်းဆင်းဝန်ထမ်း ဂျွန်ကိုလတ်၊ သူနာပြုနှစ်သိမ့်ဆွေးနွေးသူ ဟိန်းကိုဦး၊ ဒွဲ့ဆိုင်းဘူ (Case Management Officer)နှင့် ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ထမ်း ဖြိုးလမင်းစိုးနှင့် ဘဝတူကျန်းမာရေးလုပ်သားများပါဝင်သော နယ်လှည့်ကျန်းမာ‌ရေးနှင့် HIV သွေး စစ်ဆေး‌ပေးရေးအဖွဲ့သည် ဆိုင်ကယ်တစ်တန်၊ လှေတစ်တန်၊ ကုန်းကြောင်းတစ်တန်ဖြင့် မော်လိုက်မြို့နယ်အတွင်းရှိ ဝေးလံခေါင်ဖျားသည့်ဒေသများရှိ ဆင်စခန်းများသို့သွားရောက်၍ HIV ကာကွယ်ခြင်းနှင့် သွေးစစ်ဆေးပေးခြင်းဝန်ဆောင်မှုများအပြင် ART ဆေးပုံမှန်သောက်သုံးစေရေး စသည့်ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုများကို ဧပြီလ ၈ ရက်နေ့တွင်ပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။

အန္တရာယ်လျော့ပါးရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုများတွင်ပါဝင်သော HIV နှင့် TB ရောဂါများဆိုင်ရာ ကျန်းမာရေး‌ဟောပြောပွဲများပြုလုပ်ပေးခြင်း၊ HIV သွေးစစ်ဆေးပေးခြင်းနှင့် HIVကာကွယ်တားဆီးရေးဆိုင်ရာပစ္စည်းများမျှဝေပေးခြင်းတို့အပြင် AHRN (နားခိုရာ)နှင့် Best Shelter (အရိပ်စစ်)အဖွဲ့တို့တွင်ရယူနိုင်သော ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုများအား မိတ်ဆက်ပေးခြင်း စသည့်ဝန်ဆောင်မှုများအား မူးယစ်ဆေးဝါးအကြောတွင်းထိုးသွင်းသုံးစွဲသူများ (PWID)၊ မူးယစ်ဆေးသုံးစွဲသူများ (PWUD)နှင့် ၄င်းတို့၏ မိသားစုဝင်များအတွက် ပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့အပြင် တီဘီရောဂါသံသယရှိလူနာများအားလည်း လိုအပ်သောကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ဆောင်မှုများရယူနိုင်ရန်  AHRN (နားခိုရာ)‌ဆေးခန်းသို့ လွဲပြောင်းပေးခြင်းစသည့် ထပ်လောင်းဝန်ဆောင်မှုများကိုလည်း ပြုလုပ်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။
